Let's meet at the Plaza de Isabela Manuel Corchado and Juarbe. In this short walking tour we will learn the history of how towns were established in Puerto Rico. We will visit Iglesia San Antonio de Padua, Historical Houses and Plaza Manuel Corchado y Juarbe.

About the event
A certified local tour guide from Isabela will take you on a journey through the history of the town of Isabela and how the towns in Puerto Rico were founded. We will explore why the people of Isabela moved from La Tuna to its current location. We will visit the San Antonio Catholic Church and go to the second floor. We will study old pictures and explore what happened in the 1918 earthquake. We will see an old historical document, Carta Historica de Isabela, kept safe in a historical house that is now the restaurant Casita Isabela.
