Service Description

This tour is a educational walking tour about the biodiversity of the North of Puerto Rico. In this tour you will learn about geography of Puerto Rico as you observe the Atlantic Ocean on top of a cliff in the Coastal Forrest of Merendero park in Terranova Quebradillas. Our Guide Silma is one members of The Liga Ecologica Quebradillana a local organization that protects the wildlife of Quebradillas. You will have the opportunity to observe local wildlife like Brown Pelican American Kestrel, Magnificent Frigatebird, Greater Antillean Grackle, Adelaida Warbler or Reinita and other local and migratory bird species. You will learn more about endemic Harlequin Butterfly Atlantea Tulita. And the tour guide will tell the story about The Octopus of Merendero using puppets. This tour includes a Puertorrico Butterfly card
